Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Intactic Innovations ("Intactic", "we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of Pdfing Pro, including the website, web application, progressive web app, and any related tools (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Pdfing Pro. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that your use of the Service will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

Pdfing Pro provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF documents and related file formats. Capabilities include, without limitation:

The Service is provided free of charge. Features, tool availability, and processing methods may change as we improve the product.

• Organizing PDFs — merge, split, reorder, rotate, extract, duplicate, reverse, compare, booklet layout, N-Up, and workflow automation.
• Editing and enhancing — compress, watermark, stamp, sign, crop, redact, highlight, add images, page numbers, padding, metadata, forms, OCR, and annotation management.
• Converting — PDF to and from images, Word, Excel, text; website and HTML to PDF; grayscale, invert, resize, flatten, and repair utilities.
• Security — protect, unlock, sanitize, and verify signatures, subject to the limitations described in these Terms.

Tools are labeled to indicate how your data is handled:

• Local tools process files entirely in your browser. We do not receive your document content.
• Server-assisted tools (currently Website to PDF URL rendering) send specific inputs to our servers to complete your request.
• Limited tools operate locally but may not achieve full standards compliance or professional-grade validation in every case.

Pdfing Pro does not require user registration. You are responsible for securing your own device, browser, and network. We may implement rate limits, captchas, or other safeguards to protect the Service from abuse.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Process, upload, convert, or distribute content you do not have the legal right to use.
• Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person or entity.
• Attempt to bypass security measures, probe or scan our systems, or interfere with the proper functioning of the Service.
• Use automated scripts or bots to abuse server-assisted features or impose unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Remove encryption or passwords from PDFs you are not authorized to access.
• Use the Service to create, distribute, or conceal malware, illegal content, or fraudulent materials.

You retain all ownership rights in the documents, files, URLs, and other content you submit to or process through the Service ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process Your Content solely to the extent necessary to provide the Service — for example, rendering a URL you submit into a PDF. This license ends when the requested operation is complete.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of Your Content and for reviewing all output before use in business, legal, medical, financial, or other professional contexts.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Pdfing Pro is currently offered as a beta product. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every PDF, browser, operating system, or device configuration.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not guarantee OCR accuracy, conversion fidelity, digital signature validity, PDF/A archival compliance, or preservation of complex formatting, fonts, annotations, or form fields.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, INTACTIC INNOVATIONS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100. BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE, CLAUSE (A) WILL TYPICALLY BE ZERO.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Intactic Innovations and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

The Pdfing Pro name, logos, website design, user interface, and original software are owned by Intactic Innovations and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our branding or code except as permitted by law.

Third-party open-source and commercial libraries integrated into the Service remain subject to their respective license terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, including adding or removing tools, changing processing methods, or imposing usage limits.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above indicates the latest revision. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We may restrict, suspend, or block access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused server-assisted features, or posed a security or legal risk.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and governing law — will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
